ALL Therapist/Counselor jobs require a Master’s Degree, Ohio licensure (LSW, LPC, LISW, LPCC)

MHS is dedicated to providing the best services for our patients in Clark and Madison Counties. We are looking for Licensed Clinical Therapists/Counselors/Social Workers to work with a variety of target populations to deliver psychotherapy to the patients who have been assigned to them. This position would work in our outpatient unit in Springfield, OH or from the London, OH offices located in Madison County Hospital. The Licensed SW/Counselor utilizes established theoretical framework, as set forth by the various mental health disciplines, to conceptualize and solve mental health /substance abuse problems. This person uses his/her higher academic training as a basis to learn a wide variety of established mental health/substance abuse techniques for adults and their families.

MHS also offers supervision for those who are seeking their Independent therapy/counseling credentials. Qualified candidates must have a Master’s degree in a social services field and must possess an active Ohio Licensure (LSW, LISW, PC, LPCC), with 2 years’ experience preferred.

 

Youth Services/Youth Challenges (Springfield)

Our Youth Challenges program works children/adolescent in their course of treatment. Youth Challenges Therapists provide psychotherapy to the patients who have been assigned to them. This person uses their education, experience and therapeutic techniques to learn a wide variety of established mental health/substance abuse techniques to assist in the treatment of children, adolescents, and their families. MHS also offers supervision for those who are seeking their Independent therapy/counseling credentials. Qualified candidates must have a Master’s degree in a social services field and must possess an active Ohio Licensure (LSW, LISW, PC, LPCC) and 2 years’ experience with youth/adolescents.

 

Director of Social Services-Inpatient Unit/Crisis Intervention Services (Springfield)

The Director of Inpatient Services is responsible for the over site of our state of the art 16-bed In-Patient Unit and our Crisis Intervention Department. This position is an integral part of our care team and assumes responsibility for the team of IPU social workers and Crisis intervention therapists. The Director of Social Services is responsible for social work programming and quality on the in-patient unit. You will provide supervision and training for therapists and crisis workers, and work with the Director of Nursing in providing therapeutic programming to our individuals we serve. Candidates *MUST* have a Master’s Degree in a social services field, LISW-S in the State of Ohio, and prior mental/behavioral health experience. Experience with Federal, State and Joint Commission regulations preferred.

 

Community Psychiatric Support Treatment Worker (CPST) (Springfield)

The CPST facilitates the rehabilitation process for patients; monitoring and coordinating the delivery of necessary evaluations, assessments to identify the patient needs, development of the rehabilitation plan with patient and significant others, linkage and coordination of appropriate community services. Assists with independent skills training; advocacy for financial, medical and legal entitlements. Arranges for crisis intervention. Qualified candidates will have a degree (Bachelors preferred) in mental health/social services field, an active and valid Ohio Driver’s License with insurable driving record by MHS Liability plan, with recommended insurance coverage minimum of $300,000 bodily injury & property damage.

 

Registered Nurse (RN), In-Patient Unit (Springfield)

MHS is looking for Registered Nurses for our state-of-the-art 16-bed psychiatric inpatient unit located in Springfield, Ohio. Positions are Part-time or PRN, working 12 hour shifts as needed. MHS provides a team atmosphere, competitive pay and benefits, and a chance to provide individualized care to adult, SMD, adolescent, geriatric patients and their families. The nurse works with the full interdisciplinary team to provide the highest level of service to all individuals we serve. Experience in mental health preferred, but not required. Candidates must have an active Ohio RN license.

 

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), In-Patient Unit (Springfield)

MHS is looking for Licensed Practical Nurses for our state-of-the-art 16-bed psychiatric inpatient unit located in Springfield, Ohio. Positions are Part-time or PRN, working 12 hour shifts as needed. MHS provides a team atmosphere, competitive pay and benefits, and a chance to provide individualized care to adult, SMD, adolescent, geriatric patients and their families. The nurse works with the full interdisciplinary team to provide the highest level of service to all individuals we serve. Experience in mental health preferred, but not required. Candidates must have an active Ohio LPN license.

 

Mental Health Technician (MHT), In-Patient Unit, (Springfield)

MHS is currently looking for PRN/PT Mental Health Technicians for our state-of-the-art 16-bed psychiatric inpatient unit located in Springfield, Ohio. MHT's participate in establishing and maintaining therapeutic milieu and treatment processes for adolescents, adults, SMD and geriatric patients on the unit. Candidates must have a high school diploma/GED (Associates preferred) and we prefer 1 year of MHT experience. These are 2nd and 3rd shift positions, PT or PRN on the unit. Potential for FT in future.

 

Mental Health Residential Aides (Springfield)

At MHS, the Residential Aides are an integral part of the recovery of our individuals. Resident Aides work with Bridge House residents carrying out well-defined, therapeutic programs at the direction of professional and supervisory staff in matters of instruction and encouraging Bridge House residents in performing basic living skills and help clients make the transition to independent community living. We are currently looking for PRN/On-Call aides for our Bridge House Program. Aides work 8-hour shifts providing/overseeing services, meal prep, cleaning, etc. to our residents. There is currently a need for 2nd (3:30PM-11:30PM) and 3rd (11:30PM-7:30AM) shifts, and also on weekends. Prior experience working with the mental health population preferred. Candidates must have a high school diploma/GED or equivalent and be able to work independently for long periods of time.
