For individuals requiring more intensive care, our services are closely coordinated with our inpatient psychiatric unit to ensure a smooth transition between levels of care, facilitating long-term recovery.

Counseling Services

Our Counseling services provide a supportive environment for individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to trauma and relationship issues. Psychiatric Services

Psychiatric Services for adults focus on diagnosing and managing mental health conditions that may benefit from psychiatric care. Our team of psychiatrists and nurse practitioners provides comprehensive evaluations, medication management, and ongoing follow-up to monitor progress. Whether addressing mood disorders, anxiety, or more complex psychiatric conditions, our goal is to ensure that clients receive the right combination of therapy and medication to support their recovery. Behavioral Health Rehabilitation

The Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Program offers community supports and case management services help adults navigate the complexities of mental health care by providing ongoing assistance and access to necessary resources. This program offers support for daily living, including help with housing, employment, and accessing community resources.   The BHR team coordinates with our inpatient services to ensure support and continuity of care after discharge.

For individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, MHSCC offers a specialized program based on the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) model. This evidence-based approach delivers comprehensive, person-centered care through a multidisciplinary team that works directly with clients in their community settings. The ACT model aims to reduce hospitalizations and promote stability by offering intensive, integrated support in all areas of life.

Transitions Adult Day Treatment Program

The Transitions Adult Day Treatment Program offers a structured, therapeutic environment for adults requiring ongoing mental health support. Designed as a step-down service for those transitioning from our inpatient psychiatric unit, the program helps individuals gradually reintegrate into daily life while maintaining access to intensive care. Transitions provides a vital bridge between hospitalization and outpatient care, offering therapeutic interventions aimed at stabilizing mental health and preventing the need for readmission.

Participants in the program engage in a combination of individual therapy, group counseling, and skill-building activities that focus on managing symptoms, improving daily functioning, and enhancing coping mechanisms. By providing a supportive, consistent environment, the Transitions program helps clients develop the tools they need to achieve stability and avoid future hospitalizations, fostering long-term recovery and independence.

Addiction and Recovery Services

Our Addiction and Recovery Services are designed to help adults struggling with substance use disorders reclaim their lives. MHSCC offers a range of evidence-based treatments, including individual and group counseling, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), and support groups for those in recovery. Our team works collaboratively with clients to create personalized recovery plans that address both substance use and any co-occurring mental health conditions. The program aims to support long-term recovery by helping clients build healthier lifestyles and stronger support networks.
