Our 16-bed inpatient psychiatric unit provides intensive, round-the-clock care for adults experiencing severe mental health crises. This secure, therapeutic environment is designed to stabilize patients who may be struggling with acute symptoms, such as severe depression, anxiety, psychosis, or other complex psychiatric conditions. Our team of dedicated professionals—including psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, and case managers—work collaboratively to deliver individualized treatment plans focused on rapid stabilization and recovery.

Inpatient Mental Health Treatment

Mental health challenges, addiction, or both can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to face them alone. Depending on your needs and the severity of your symptoms, inpatient mental health treatment may be the best option for your recovery.

Before beginning treatment at our facility, you’ll receive a comprehensive, no-obligation psychiatric and physical evaluation from our dedicated team of health professionals. This assessment will evaluate your safety, stability, and overall needs. For individuals experiencing a crisis—such as those at risk of harming themselves or others, or struggling to manage daily life—our team may recommend inpatient care.

We provide treatment for a wide range of conditions, including:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
  • Bipolar Disorder
  • Borderline Personality Disorder
  • Psychosis
  • Suicidal thoughts or ideation

If you and our team determine that inpatient treatment is the right choice, we’ll work to admit you promptly so you can begin your personalized path to recovery. Your journey will be tailored to your unique circumstances, ensuring care that’s right for you.

Treatment Team

While you are in the hospital, there are several staff who will be working as a team to assist you in achieving your goals:

Psychiatrist

Your psychiatrist serves as the leader of your treatment team, guiding your care throughout your stay. They will evaluate your needs, prescribe medications, and order diagnostic tests to ensure a comprehensive approach to your treatment. Each day, your psychiatrist will meet with you to discuss your progress, answer any questions, and adjust your care plan as needed to support your recovery and overall well-being. Their expertise and compassionate approach ensure you receive the highest quality of care.

Recreational Therapist

The recreational therapist will gather information about how you spend your leisure time and assess your recreational outlets. The therapist will determine any treatment needs for physical, cognitive, emotional, social, and leisure needs that affect your quality of life.  Interventions may include: arts, crafts, relaxation skills, exercise, spirituality, music, leisure skills/games, writing outlets, social skills and engagement with visiting dogs primarily through group activities daily. The therapist will assist you with community resources and a plan to gain maximum benefit from your leisure time.

Social Worker

Our social workers are here to support you throughout your journey to recovery. Shortly after your admission, a social worker will meet with you to complete a thorough psychosocial assessment, exploring your current functional level, symptoms, and specific needs. They will provide individual, group, and family sessions tailored to your unique circumstances, helping you build skills and address challenges. As your treatment progresses, the social worker will coordinate with the treatment team to plan for your discharge, ensuring follow-up appointments are scheduled and referrals to community resources are made to support your ongoing success.

Nursing Staff

On our inpatient psychiatric unit, nurses play a vital role in supporting your or your loved one’s journey to recovery. They provide compassionate, around-the-clock care, ensuring safety and comfort while administering medications, monitoring progress, and addressing physical and emotional needs. Our nurses also serve as a bridge between patients, families, and the treatment team, keeping you informed and involved in the care process. Through their expertise and dedication, they create a supportive environment where healing and growth are possible.

Mental Health Technicians (MHTs)

Mental Health Technicians (MHTs) are essential members of our treatment team, providing hands-on support to ensure your comfort, safety, and well-being during your stay. They often lead or assist with therapeutic groups and activities on the unit, offering opportunities for engagement and growth. MHTs are also there to help with personal care needs, assist in obtaining necessary items, and ensure a smooth daily routine. Additionally, they conduct safety checks and rounding as directed by the physician to maintain a secure and supportive environment. Their compassionate presence and dedication are key to creating a positive experience for our patients.

Other Staff

Other staff may be involved in your treatment depending on your individual need such as chaplain, dietician, etc.
